KEY RESULT AREAS

1. Community Engagement | Director of Development Support

  • Provides high-level relational support to the Development Director
  • The job is phone call and email heavy with some face to face work as well

2. Donor Portfolio

  • Shepherds up to 300 key contacts for relationship building and ministry communications regarding their financial investment into Mentoring Alliance — texts, sharing photos, podcasts, and other helpful resources.
  • Processes daily activities in Salesforce in a timely and effective manner with accuracy and goal of 50 investor activities per week
  • Makes 10% of calls as active solicitation to cultivate first time givers, or grow 1st time to repeat giving.
  • Assists Development team with special events.
  • Assists the Development Director with social media needs and execution related to Development and the MA Brand.
  • Achieve Revenue Goals annually and Quarterly.
  • Spends two hours weekly making thank you calls as appropriate.

3. Other Duties as Assigned by the Director of Development, or Executive Director, Greater Tyler.

  • Invests 20% of the time on investor relationships and projects as assigned by the DDGT.
  • Serves on appropriate committees; attends staff meetings, and other staff functions as assigned.
  • Strengthens teamwork, collaboration, alignment, morale, transparency, credibility, and trust throughout MA.
  • Fulfills necessary tasks, projects, or roles as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • College degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required
  • Experience in website research preferred
  • General clerical/secretarial/administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills required
