MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Executive Director of Greater Waco is to provide day-to-day leadership of the Greater Waco team while embracing Mentoring Alliance's expansion initiatives through community partnerships, regional fundraising, brand management, and strategy development.

KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Lead Manage & Accountability: Provides day-to-day leadership for the regional team, ensuring that the team is accountable to agreed-upon goals, metrics, tasks, and recurring business procedures.

2. MA DNA and Culture Cultivation: Promotes a regional culture that reflects MA's mission and values and communicates the vision passionately to inspire staff toward the God-given vision of MA programs.

3. Fundraising & Community Relationships: Builds and maintains relationships with key community stakeholders and the regional advisory council to ensure fundraising activities are completed and goals are met according to MA's development strategy.

4. Financial Management: Owns revenue generation, expense management, and controls for regional programs and provides regional data and information to support the building of the annual regional budget.

5. Program Safety & Quality Compliance: Collaborates with the Program Development team to identify issues and recommend program changes or opportunities, drives regional staff recruiting strategy efforts and guides regional registration efforts.

6. District Partnerships: Builds and maintains relationships with existing and prospective school district partnerships and ensures ongoing communication and feedback regarding partnerships.

7. Regional Growth: Builds and facilitates consistent evaluation of growth plans and opportunities; maintaining existing partners and identifying new program or site growth opportunities.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or experience equivalency; related master’s preferred
  • Proven people and organizational leadership skills
  • Ability to shepherd and disciple staff from a biblical worldview
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve growth and solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated crisis/risk management skills
  • Proven character, refined in multiple organizational settings
  • Non-profit ministry experience preferred
  • Experience establishing organizational and programmatic systems and processes required
