MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Photo & Video Specialist is to capture compelling photography, videography, and social media visuals in support of the Art Department and in alignment with MA's strategic marketing plan.
KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Content Creation: Creates compelling photography, videography, and social media content that showcases key components of a camp day through creative and imaginative skills.
2. Content Administration: Provides high-level value-added administrative support that includes but is not limited to editing photos, content organization, and storage, and conducting interviews to capture weekly written content.
3. Other Duties as Assigned by the Art Director: Performs any other duties to serve the ministry as needed including travel to camp locations in Waco and Abilene, Texas.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Photography and videography experience and an online portfolio of 2-3 years are required
- Experience shooting with a DSLR or mirrorless camera (Sony, Canon, or Nikon)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Outgoing, personable, and able to work well with young children
- Experience photographing in a Christian camp environment is a huge plus
- Some experience with Photo Editing in Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom, Bridge, Photoshop)
- Some experience with Premiere Rush/Pro is a huge plus
- Some experience with social media video editing is a huge plus
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Seeking an Associates or Bachelors degree in Media, Marketing, Communications, Graphics, Photography or a related field of study is preferred
